Egyptian Gold is a 5-reel slot game where winning symbols lock in place, and the reels keep spinning for bigger and better wins! The game features 20 win lines, wild symbols and a 3-level Egyptian tomb bonus.

6 or more Sarcophagus scatter symbols in view awards the 3-stage bonus feature. Find the Golden Head symbol in the Sarcophagus Bonus to enter the Eye of Horus. Finding a Golden Head in the Eye of Horus will take you to the Portal of Gods. Once in the Portal of Gods, select one of the gods to win a big cash prize! All wins can be gambled up to the maximum win in the optional gamble feature.
To win, the player must match 3 or more reel symbols on a win line, or have 3 or more Sarcophagus scatter symbols anywhere in view. All line pay symbols must appear on a win line and on consecutive reels beginning with the far left reel. Only the highest win is paid on each win line. Coinciding wins on different win lines are added. Scatter wins and bonus wins are added to pay line wins.

The WILD symbol substitutes for any symbol except the Sarcophagus scatter symbol.
Any reel win triggers the Lock 'N' Load feature. All winning symbols lock in place and the reels keep spinning until the total win ceases to improve.

6 or more Sarcophagus scatter symbols in view triggers the Sarcophagus Bonus.
In the Sarcophagus Bonus, the player selects one of the sarcophagi to reveal a cash prize. Finding a 'Golden Head' symbol triggers the Eye of Horus Bonus.

In the Eye of Horus Bonus, the player is shown a wall with 20 sliding doors. A 'Golden Head' symbol is hidden behind one or more of these doors. The player must choose one of the sliding doors. If a 'Golden Head' symbol is revealed, the Portal of Gods Bonus is triggered. Finding an 'X' symbol ends the bonus.
In the Portal of Gods Bonus, the player chooses one of three ancient Egyptian gods to reveal a cascade of golden treasure - a big cash prize.
If the player chooses to, they can gamble their winnings up to the maximum win in the gamble game.

Development

Egyptian Gold utilises the highly successful Lock 'N' Load feature that was first used in Martin's Gold Strike game. Martin completed the AS3 game code for Egyptian Gold in November 2012, and integrated the game with OpenBet's server in the summer of 2013.

Release

Egyptian Gold was launched on SkyVegas, in October 2013. The game was subsequently included on other platforms including Betfair and Paddy Power.
